The Art Museum of Southeast Texas’ (AMSET) most popular and entertaining fund-raising event is getting a little added lagniappe this year, mon cher. On Thursday, March 18, Southeast Texans are invited to Geaux for the Gold – Cajun Style for a chance to win $10,000 in 2010! AMSET is spicing up this 15th annual party and reverse drawing that gives three lucky ticket-holders a chance to win unbelievable prizes in gold.
For the ticket cost of $100, guests receive admission, a delicious Cajun-style dinner and cocktails for two along with one entry into the most exciting drawing in town. Geaux for the Gold is a reverse drawing, meaning that the last three ticket stubs drawn from the hopper are the winners of:
3rd Place $1,000 in Gold
2nd Place $1,500 in Gold
1st Place $10,000 in Gold
“This event represents a very exciting opportunity for someone to instantly turn a $100 investment into $10,000 in gold coins,” said AMSET Executive Director Lynn Castle. “Most importantly, this event raises funds to benefit the museum’s exhibitions and educational programs.”
Geaux for the Gold 2010 is co-chaired by Linda Foutz and Carla Allen. Gold coins for the evening will be provided for display by First Fidelity Reserve. Dinner will be provided by Two Magnolias.
Only 500 tickets will be sold for the event; advance purchase is recommended. To purchase tickets, go to www.amset.org or call (409) 832-3432. Labels: southeast texas events
