Grace's Top 5 Inexpensive Beauty Tool Essentials
5. Q-tips - Hello! We all know how useful these little guys are. Use them to wipe up eyeshadow fallout, clean up eyeshadow edges, and get those dreaded eye boogies!!
4. A toothbrush - Not only for keeping those whites pearly, spray a designated toothbrush with hairspray and brush your brows upward and into place all day long!
3. Triangle sponges - I like the CVS Essence of Beauty brand. Firm, yet soft, use these to clean up the face, as well as press foundation and powder in place, AFTER you've applied it with a brush.
2. Pencil sharpener - Not all are created equal, so if you find yourself sharpening and sharpening and sharpening and still no perfect point, it's time to go out and get you a new one. My fave is from MAC. It creates a smooth point every time, and it's less than $5!!
1. And last, but certainly NOT least, an eyelash curler!!! - Must have, unless you are one of those genetic anomalies that has perfectly long, curled lashes! Again, not all of these are created equal. If you find yourself saying "I've used one, and it just doesn't do anything," then you probably aren't squeezing it tightly or for long enough, AND you probably should go buy one from MAC. I've had mine for about 4 years, and I always get a great curl. It's in the $12-$15 range, and worth every penny.
